Gotcha Covered
Look at anyone’s golf bag and, chances are, one of the first things you will notice are the headcovers. Why is that? Could it be because they tell a lot about the golfer? Such as, how new the clubs are, brand or model being played, striker or hacker i.e. handicap level, and perhaps, if there is an obsessive-compulsive tendency. Bird’s eye view of changes at Park Mammoth GC
In the Fall of 2019 the golf course formerly known as Park Mammoth GC was placed on the auction block. Being fairly new to the game, my focus was on the execution of hitting the ball, thinking mastering that was all that was required to play good golf. So, I totally missed the point that its not the physical but the mental side that will bring you to tears. Now, after playing for over 50 years, you can not play this game…

Has this EVER happen before ?
Sam Horsfield, an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, won his second tournament in three weeks. “That’s nice but definitely has happen before, correct?” And, the answer is “Yes”, but only one person, Seve Ballesteros, won 2 out of 3 times he teed it up in succession while missing the cut in the tournament in between. HOWEVER, from what I can find out, Horsfield is the only golfer that has done it over a period of three consecutive weeks. In other words, win, missed cut, win in back to back to back tour events. And, perhaps, a more interesting thing, is the European Tour is playing this…
