Gar Golf’s four main areas of content

 

  1. Playing it Down – Comments on what’s going on in the industry.
  2. My Sojourn – The trials, tribulations, and triumphs in the pursued to beat “Old Man Par” and the courses, places and people encountered along the way during this lifetime endeavor.   Also, the challenges of retooling my game after being away from golf for over 15 in an effort to shoot my age.
  3. Road Trips – Golf outing, single day road trips,  “mini holiday” sojourns, as well as, links to related websites.
  4. Golf Ghosts – Covering the courses, companies and products that are no longer around. Remembering their place in golf history, sharing memories of a time when they were players in the industry.

    The first thing I noticed, upon my return to playing golf after 16 plus years away, was how much things had changed. “Well duh !”, you say. Well, yes, but it was not what I was thinking it would be. My thoughts were about how much the technology had changed.
